Introduction

The Minor in Humanities: History of Culture provides globally engaged and interdisciplinary study of the humanities (philosophy, religion, history, literature and the arts). It emphasizes cultural history and cross-cultural interaction; it encompasses study of a wide variety of societies across a long span of time (ancient to modern) and around the world.

How to Declare (Admission and Declaration Process):

Contact the Minor Advisor (Prof. Jonathan Miran) as soon as possible. There are no prerequisites for declaring the minor. 

Grade Requirements

A grade of C- or better is required for a student’s major or minor courses, and supporting courses for majors and minors.
