MPAC 571 - Seminar in Law for Accountants Using cases, texts, lecture and discussion, students examine legal issues important to accountants, including: administrative law-making; agency, business organizations; negotiable instruments, bank deposits, intellectual property; aspects of real and personal property security, bankruptcy; lobbying and campaign finance regulations; and accountants’ professional liability.
Prerequisites & Notes: ACCT 470 or equivalent.
