GEOL 214 - Environmental Geology Explores the interactions between geological phenomena and human society. Topics include geologic hazards such as earthquakes, landslides, floods and volcanic eruptions, as well as the effects of human activities on earth systems, such as ground water contamination, resource limits, and global warming.
