ECON 311 - Money and Banking The nature and functions of money and the role of depository institutions and central banks in affecting the supply of money and credit in the U.S. Considers the changing U.S. financial environment and the influence of monetary policy on interest rates, prices and the overall level of economic activity. Cannot be counted towards the Financial Economics major.
