ART 312 - Printmaking - Intaglio Course covers history, methods, criticism, and practice of the intaglio print processes; dry point, engraving and mezzotint, hard-ground and soft-ground etching, aquatint, color applications, multi-plate registration, and photo-polymer gravure. Historical and contemporary intaglio examples explored. Lecture/lab. Repeatable to a maximum of 15 credits.
Prerequisites & Notes: ART 210 and 8 credits of 200-level studio practice.
