RECR 199 - The Happiness Experiment: Science, Strategies, and Practices for Well-Being This course examines happiness from a variety of cultural and societal perspectives/philosophies and helps students understand both what makes us happy individually and how happiness contributes to the collective well-being of society. We will explore how happiness shapes our relationships, behaviors, and interactions with the world and how we might create more connected, supportive, and fulfilling communities. By studying happiness across different cultures, we will learn more about what brings us joy and contentment in our own lives. This understanding may help students be more intentional about infusing happiness into their own lives.
