DISA 201 - Stories of Disability in the World This course focuses on personal experiences of disability, the body, and community engagement. Students will learn how disability is a complex social experience that goes far beyond medical conceptions of illness and health, ability and disability. Through the lens of personal storytelling, students will examine the role that disability plays in the world, including such concepts as ableism, accessibility, and disabled joy.
