GEOL 110 - Natural Hazards and Disasters

Introduction to natural hazards, including earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, landslides, climate change, hurricanes, floods, and tornadoes. Events are framed in the geologic context of plate tectonics, and the cultural context of population growth. Weekly labs are based on real data.
