A/HI 335 - Visual Arts in the Age of Contact, Exploration, and Colonization

This course explores artistic responses to the unprecedented clash and integration of cultures resulting from exploration and the consequent expansion of European empires throughout the world in its earliest phase, ca. 1492 to 1700.
