SCED 370 - STEM and Society

An in-depth exploration of selected contemporary issues related to Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) such as equity and diversity in STEM, climate change, genetically modified foods, artificial intelligence, geoengineering, and large-scale extinction of species. The course also explores what constitutes STEM and its ethical implications.

Prerequisites & Notes: Completion of science GUR courses or concurrent if also registered for final science GUR and completion of 90 credits or instructor permission.
