ECE 435 - Advocacy and Healing-Centered Perspectives in Early Childhood

Healing-centered perspectives and approaches to supporting young children experiencing trauma, including responsibilities for identifying and reporting suspected abuse and neglect. Critically examine social, historical, and cultural contexts of trauma to understand the complexity of children’s lives. Develop healing-centered prevention, intervention and advocacy practices.
