MATH 109 - Support for Functions and Algebraic Methods MATH 109 must be take concurrently with MATH 112 and provides support for student success in MATH 112. This class is for students with an interest in programs that require further study of mathematics (e.g. Science and Engineering, Business, Environmental Science/Studies, and Health Professions Pathways). Support will focus on connections of algebraic concepts, skills and reasoning needed for success in MATH 112. Additional topics include study skills and utilizing essential university support services (e.g. tutoring center, the library, and the advising center).
Prerequisites & Notes: Co-requisite: MATH 112; a math assessment score of 30 to 34. Credits: 2 Grade Mode: S/U
