UEPP 261 - Planning the American City This course will address the principles and practices in urban development and public planning in the United States as well as the concepts of planning as a community process and professional activity. Students will also touch on evolution of planning ideas in response to changing social, economic, and environmental conditions within the American political framework, survey of the specialized fields in planning practice, and emphasizing the emerging field of environmental planning.
