PSY 306 - Correlational Approaches to Research and Statistics Overview of statistical methods, the essential tools for conducting most psychological research. With an emphasis on survey design and measured data (rather than experimentally manipulated) variables, students will learn to describe variables, draw graphs, and analyze relationships between variables. Topics include bivariate and multivariate correlation and regression, sampling distributions and Z-scores, and hypothesis testing. Empirical survey data will be collected and analyzed.
Prerequisites & Notes: PSY 305 and declared Psychology major. Credits: 5 Grade Mode: Letter
