SOC 438 - Health and Illness in Society This Senior Capstone course applies a sociological perspective to explore topics in health and nutrition of adults in the United States. Examines how demographic characteristics, socioeconomic statuses, dietary issues, disease and illness are related in U.S. society. Students will apply previous coursework in research methods and statistical analysis, along with assigned readings to produce a final, independent research project for this course.
Prerequisites & Notes: SOC 302; and SOC 304 or PSY 306; and SOC 306. Credits: 5 Grade Mode: Letter
