MSCI 420 - Scanning Electron Microscopy This course will explore fundamental concepts of scanning electron microscopy, including microscope functions and specimen- electron interactions. Students will apply these concepts to regular hands-on use of electron microscopes, including completion of a student-defined project using higher-end capabilities of Western’s microscopy facilities.
Prerequisites & Notes: CHEM 163 or CHEM 176; MATH 125 or MATH 135 or MATH 138; PHYS 163; or instructor permission. Credits: 3 Grade Mode: Letter
