MIS 435 - Data Visualization for Decision Making


The course covers how to utilize data and data visualizations to support business decisions. Students learn how to use data visualization tools to analyze and visualize data, and to use data visualizations to support data-driven decision-making. Topics include the principles of designing visualizations and dashboards, data-driven storytelling and communication, and reading and analyzing case studies on the benefits and drawbacks of data analytics in a variety of fields.

Prerequisites & Notes: Majors only. MIS 320 or ACCT 321.
