PSY 354 - Interventions in Child and Adolescent Mental Health

Mental health issues and disorders in youth. Topics include the DSM disorders; their etiology, assessment, incidence, and treatment; and social attitudes toward mental health issues. Consideration of other systemic factors, such as racism, oppression, and homelessness, that impact youth mental health. Review of the research related to the treatment of youth mental health.
