ECON 435 - Behavioral Economics This course studies the role of psychological processes in economic decision making. In contrast to much of economics, behavioral economics starts with observations of actual decision making and seeks to explain how and why individuals make the choices they do. Topics may include decision heuristics, decision making under uncertainty, time inconsistency, social preferences, and neuroeconomics.
