PSY 565 - Group Processes in Counseling


Theoretical foundations of group counseling and practical strategies for planning, forming and facilitating groups in varied settings. Emphasis is placed on effective leadership approaches as well as ethical and culturally-relevant practices in group work. Repeatable up to 4 credits, including original course.

Prerequisites & Notes: Admission to MS Clinical Mental Health Counseling program or MEd School Counseling program.
