ECON 411 - Monetary Economics Examines the theory and implementation of monetary policy. Topics may include the transmission mechanism of monetary policy, interest rate rules, the credibility of policymakers, and exchange rates. Special consideration is given to empirically measuring the impact of money on real economic variables and optimal monetary policy.
