LIBR 325 - History of the Book This course will introduce students to major topics in the history of books and printing. It will explore the complex process of producing a book at various times in history and consider the social and cultural impact of book production. Hands-on activities will improve student understanding of course readings and lectures. The course will meet in Special Collections in Wilson Library and involve extensive use of rare books and manuscripts from around the world.
