SOC 466 - Sociological Analysis of Modern African States This course will lead students through a sociological examination of a modern African nation with specific emphases on the interactions between culture, economics, history, governance, as well as the impact of external foreign actors. Students will analyze aspects of the social organization of contemporary society within the nation including health, education, and indicators of economic and social well-being.
