ENG 441 - Language and the Secondary Classroom An exploration of language structure and use in the Secondary English classroom, including cultural and equity issues that linguistically diverse students face in secondary schools, dialect and discourse style bias, second language acquisition, and the challenge of grammar, conventions, and high-stakes testing.
