ENVS 567 - Power, Privilege, and the Environment An exploration of the ways in which identity characteristics (including race, gender, and class) and systems of oppression impact how communities conceive of and address environmental challenges. This course also examines the differential impacts of environmental harm on disadvantaged communities. Students will engage with these ideas through regular journaling and writing, mapping and data collection exercises, and a final paper or project.
