MUS 264W - Pedagogy/Lab: World Percussion

This course will introduce the rhythms and musical cultures of West Africa, Brazil, and Cuba through the study of instruments and techniques and audio and video recordings. Future music educators will learn basic information concerning teaching methods and performance techniques for a broad range of hand percussion instruments.

Prerequisites & Notes: Music education major or instructor permission.
