CHIN 403 - Modern Chinese Society and Culture

This topic course is designed for students to acquire a deeper understanding of modern Chinese society and culture. Through an examination of cultural unities and diversities and comparison between tradition and globalization, it helps students develop abilities to think critically about major developments in Chinese society and culture from the 20th to the 21st centuries. Repeatable to 10 credits.
