ENRG 420 - Advanced Energy Science Quantitative analysis of energy resources and processes within a unified physical framework. Covers traditional and renewable resources including fossil fuels, nuclear, wind, solar, hydroelectric, geothermal, and biofuels. Energy processes covered include electricity generation and energy storage in batteries and fuel cells. Systems-level issues such as efficiency, transmission, and reliability are also analyzed.
Prerequisites & Notes: CHEM 163 and ENRG 320. Credits: 3 Grade Mode: Letter
