HUMA 323 - The Romantic Paradox: Love, Life and Death Study of Romanticism as a complex, international cultural movement originating in the late 18th century with continuing vitality and influence into the present. Exploration of characteristic Romantic tensions: the desire for unity, harmony, infinity and beauty vs. the experience of fragmentation, limitation and loss.
