INTL 201 - Introduction to Global Studies Introduces students to the interdisciplinary field of Global Studies. Critically examines global political, economic, and social interconnections. Explores global inequalities, questions of social justice, and pathways for creating sustainable change. Key topics may include multi-dimensional poverty, global health, global economy, food security, environment, transnational migration, human trafficking, gender and family, human rights, and sustainable development. Students will develop a critical lens to evaluate global issues as well as their own place in our interdependent world.
