ESCI 423 - Paleoclimate and Paleoecology Introduction to the central concepts of paleoclimatology and paleoecology. The labs introduce techniques for understanding the Earth’s climate over the past 2.5 million years. This includes the reconstructions of past temperature, precipitation, streamflow, and sea surface temperatures using proxy data from ice cores, pollen records, and tree rings.
