COMM 436 - Advanced Intercollegiate Debate

Applied Practice course that requires active and consistent participation with WWU intercollegiate debate program including participation in weekend competitions throughout the quarter. Students gain advanced applied knowledge in argument construction and refutation, research, critical thinking, and oral communication. Repeatable to a maximum of 6 credits, including original course. A combined total of 6 credits from COMM 236 and COMM 436 may be applied to the Communication Studies major. S/U grading.
