BIOL 576 - Structural Basis of Membrane Transport Proteins This course will examine the general structural basis of membrane transport proteins; studying their mechanistic information, examining the actual body plans and structure of these proteins and evaluating the structure-function relationship that permits them to perform their task. The overall goal of this course is to acquire a unifying view of membrane transport mechanisms. Offered in alternate years.
Prerequisites & Notes: Graduate status. BIOL 323 or equivalent; background in biochemistry recommended. Credits: 3 Grade Mode: Letter
