MUS 365 - String Teaching Methods and Materials

The teaching of string classes with particular emphasis on instruction beyond the beginning levels. Areas of focus include teaching strategies for reinforcing fundamental skills, introducing intermediate and advanced skills, repertoire, rehearsal techniques, and curricular design and implementation.

Prerequisites & Notes: MUS 265C, MUS 265D, MUS 268 and MUS 352; Applied string instrumentalist.
