MUS 109 - Iconic Music in Iconic Films

Case studies of iconic film scores, and their impact on the overall cinematic experience. This course explores a select variety of soundtracks throughout the history of films, including Planet of the Apes, Psycho, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, and others. Foreign films that use folk influenced scores will also be explored.
