HIST 506 - Research seminar

HIST 506 is an introduction to the craft of history research and writing. The goal of the class is for students to produce a substantial paper on a topic of their choosing, while also helping their classmates to frame their questions, understand their sources, and improve their arguments. Assignments are geared toward helping students develop research questions, conduct research, and pull readings of primary and secondary sources into an original interpretation.
