MACS 303 - Marine Ecological Processes


Students will gain an understanding of how scientists study marine ecology and the fundamentals of what these scientists have discovered.  Classroom and field investigations will address why marine organisms live where they do, and the patterns of and causes for the distribution and abundance of marine organisms both in the Salish Sea, and in diverse systems throughout the oceans.

Prerequisites & Notes: BIOL 204; MACS 302.
