MACS 301 - Marine Physical and Chemical Processes Students will gain an understanding of the physics and chemistry of the coastal ocean, using the Salish Sea as a model system. Investigations will involve interpreting observations, and using physical and computer models to explore concepts such as circulation processes, the interaction between waves and coastal processes, and the sources and sinks of solutes.
Prerequisites & Notes: MATH 125 or MATH 135 or MATH 138; CHEM 163; PHYS 163. Credits: 5 Grade Mode: Letter
