A/HI 336 - Visual Arts of Medieval Iberia and Early Modern Spain

This upper-lever lecture course explores the arts produced in the Iberian Peninsula and the domains of the Spanish Empire at large. Topics may include: Visigothic and Islamic conquests, Medieval architecture and painting, the rise and fall of the Spanish Empire in Europe and abroad during El Siglo de Oro, and the artistic impact of the Enlightenment.

Prerequisites & Notes: Any A/HI or equivalent 200-level course.
