SPED 305 - Introduction to Special Education and Typical/Atypical Development

This course is an introduction to characteristics, categories of exceptionality, and typical/atypical child development. The course includes examination of provisions of special education and related services. It includes federal and Washington state legislation pertinent to special education from preschool through high school. The course includes content necessary for general and special educators.
