MUS 264R - Pedagogy/Lab: Drumset

This course provides instruction for future music educators in performance techniques and teaching methods for drumset. Students will develop stick technique on the snare drum and four-way coordination at the drumset while developing a basic understanding of drumming in a variety of musical styles including: rock, jazz/swing, and Latin grooves.

Prerequisites & Notes: Music Education major or instructor permission.
