CSCI 436 - Technology for Social Good


This interdisciplinary and practice-oriented course will focus on how information and communication technologies (ICTs) such as computers, cell phones, Internet, web, social media, and computer networks can be designed to solve practical and social problems. Often such problems exist in the underserved communities all over the world. This course will encompass several important aspects of ICT that aim to improve human lives (e.g., health, education, poverty, agriculture, and e-governance).

Prerequisites & Notes: Computer Science major status; for non-Conputer Science students, instructor permission is required.
