SPED 479 - Developmental and Remedial Reading Instruction for Inclusive Settings Reading theories, assessment, instruction, and modifications are addressed for teachers of reading. Course includes methods for teaching emergent literacy and for fluent reading, especially comprehension. Instructional methods, curricula, and materials; accommodating for individual differences are addressed. Course includes a practicum component for the purpose of program assessment.
Prerequisites & Notes: Instructor permission or override required. Credits: 5 Grade Mode: Letter
