C/AM 331 - Canada: Society and the Environment This course explores relationships between people and the environment in the territory that has come to be known as Canada; emphasis is placed upon the history of such relationships. Topics include: physical geography, Aboriginal geographies, Native-Newcomer interactions, evolving and contested political boundaries, resource use and ecological crisis, and urban development. Also offered as ENVS 331.
Prerequisites & Notes: ENVS 203 or ENVS 204 or ENVS 240 or HIST 277 or C/AM 200 or instructor permission. Credits: 3 Grade Mode: Letter
