LDST 101 - Introduction to Leadership Studies

This introductory leadership course delivers faculty-led interactive lectures where students participate to critically examine leadership theory and their own development as leaders and followers. Students also participate and coordinate in their Discussion Sections (led by more advanced leadership students) to participate in legacy-based community engagement projects. Each LDST 101 Discussion Section works on a different legacy project, which (depending on student choices and project details) can provide experience in areas like team development, video, project management, event planning, communication, interpersonal, outreach/advocacy, social media, and conflict management skills.
