African American Studies MinorDepartment of American Cultural Studies, Interdisciplinary Studies 21-28 creditsIntroduction/What is the Study of African American Studies? The program in African American studies provides students with an interdisciplinary approach to the history, culture, and politics of peoples of African descent. This minor program can be combined with many major designations. For more information, contact Dr. Bill Lyne, coordinator of the African American Studies minor concentration or Dr. Lawrence J.
